Better care services for separated and migrant children in Europe

An increased consensus at political, institutional and civil society level is fundamental to boost foster care services for unaccompanied migrant children. In order to increase the engagement of key stakeholders to play a more active role in improving quality care of unaccompanied migrant children, EUROCHILD has prepared an Advocacy toolkit.
The purpose of the toolkit “Better care services for unaccompanied and separated migrant children in Europe“ is to assist child rights advocates and other professionals in influencing the governments at national and sub-national level, to promote the development of better care services for unaccompanied and separated migrant children in the EU.
Background information, key messages, and tools for advocacy initiatives on care services for unaccompanied migrant children are some of the inputs that stakeholders are invited to adapt at the very different national contexts.
The toolkit encourages as well to include and enhance the partecipation of children in outlining advocacy strategies that affect children life.
